Going Green

I'm on a roll I finished an elephant, owl, and a seal. Now I'm working on a "go green" project. I'm crocheting with plastic bags! I'm reading "No Impact Man" by
Colin Beavan, and well I'm so engrossed in it. It's a simple narrative book about one mans life to not just "go green" but to leave no carbon foot print on the world at all. I'm only 70 pages in and I want to go out and try to change the world. I wont bother you with the detail, but honestly, go to your local library and rent this book! Yes, the public library, so dust off that old library card. So far my plastic bag experiment is going according to plan so check back soon to hear more.

My sister came to visit today, which usually I wouldn't be excited about since we have absolutely nothing in common. I mean nothing, like honestly, not a thing, well except for the fact we come from the same mom!, but to tell you the truth, I've been very homesick. We took a trip to the mall, I got two free pairs of underwear from Victoria Secret and some chai tea leaves from Teavania (if you haven't heard about them Google them RIGHT NOW, they're amazing!) My sister on the other hand bought a mess of clothes, accessories and a bathing suit (in the middle of March in New England... I don't get it either). Then we ventured to Dave & Buster's, which was a first time experience for all three of us. The decor was just well, ugly, but the food was AMAZING! and the eat and play combo really only saves you a buck or two, but what the hell, we spent over an hour playing with $10 so I can't complain. We each got a shitty prize, but what do you expect. She left, I'm watching family guy, back to my old boring life.

Till next time,
Teslas
